Attempted yet again, and cannot get it to work. The no you method keeps failing. It says my computer needs to restart after it starts installing the drivers. I have tried restarting. No luck. Any ideas?

I decided to go back to stock. I ran odin and everything went well. I got the pass and all that. I have an issue though. My phone now only flashes the start screen. It says "samsung galaxy note 2" and will not do a thing else. i cant get into recovery. I can get into odin, but thats it. I cant even charge it! I need help in the worst way....

I'm assuming it's the stock recovery? Did you verify the md5 of the. .tar file?

It is now fixed. I got it :). Now how do I lock the bootloader back?

Ok. So I think everything is back to stock but my device status shows modified. Any way to fix that?

I think you have to use triangle away to resolve that and reset the flash count.

I did. And then I unrooted and flashed the stock firmware. I missed a step somewhere along the way..... :(

Modified isn't the flash counter, that is in the boot menu. The modified flag usually means root. Are you sure you didn't flash a rooted rom?

If you are not rooted then an fdr usually clears it.
