Help with rooting my Droid 2.

another victim of the latest update. you are on 2.3.4 now right? verizon got me to when i replaced my phone this week and it came stock with it. i am having the same problem finding a way to root my r2d2

Droid2 2.3.4 root needed!

I have the same problem. I rooted my Droid2 a year ago when they were on Froyo, but lost it automatically when they pushed the ota gingerbread update. Please somebody let me know how I can get root back!!!

If you are on 2.3.4 you cannot root it...at all

I kinda figured, it should be rootable soon though, right? Is there a way I could go back to 2.3.2, then root?

It will be a while, maybe never. No there's no way, any old sbf will mess stuff up
