help on ringtones volume

ok in 2 hours i'm getting a x and i yet have heard the ringtone volume is this phone as loud as the eris ? and also as a phone goes can i hear people talk i need to know this as i dont hear so well LOL should i get the incredible instead
i'm tired of putting on my glasses to read text does the bigger screen inlarge the text ? any help out there

wow no one even helped ? wow I did not get the phone i'm afraid of the battery not being able to hold a charge for a day i go to work at 4am and get home at about 9pm and the last thing i want to do is turn off wifi-gps-and every other thing on the phone just to get it to work right i mean isnt that the reason we get these smart phones is to use them ,i have the eris now and get all day on it 16 hours easy and never turn any thing off .i guess i'll just wait until the next good phone in dec. jan. its a bummer i liked the x but after reading about all the problems ,it seems like a pile of %^&*$ you would think spending so much on making this phone some one would know how to make it work for at least a day without loosing a charge.and make it work with the mac,without being a computer geek .i guess i'm not savvy enough to do this smart phone thing ,maybe just wait until the next phone just maybe they'll make one that doest have the drawbacks .after reading 5 derf. fourms the iphone has way less problems but its that evil at&t i could never use and i like the gps "MAPS" better on my eris than iphones ,i'll keep reading and see if you guys figure out all the bugs before i get a new phone.

I've had both the Droid and the Incredible and the X is by far better than either.

don't get me wrong "complain" i just want to ride my motorcycle free bare-ass without being hassled by the man. I JUST WANT TO USE THE PHONE FOR THE DAY AND INTO THE NIGHT WITHOUT CHARGING IT.BUT THAT NOT THE ONLY THING THAT SCARES ME, ITS ALL THE OTHER THINGS THIS POST IS FULL OF NON WORKING PROBLEMS .AFTER 30 DAYS MY KID WILL HAVE THE ERIS THE WIFE WILL HAVE THE KIDS PHONE AND I'LL BE LEFT WITH WHAT EVER IS LEFT .IF THIS THING DON'T WORK RIGHT AND THAT JUST AINT RIGHT I PAY THE BILLS .
AND NEED A GOOD WORKING PHONE MAYBE I'M JUST WANTING MY LIFE NOT TO REVOLVE AROUND FIXING THE PHONE .THIS WAS TO BE EASY GET THE NEW PHONE AND EVERY THING WORKS. HELL I'L JUST GO FISHING AND THINK ABOUT IT A SPELL .LIFES TO SHORT TO WORRIE ABOUT IF THE PHONE DIES.

SORRY, i never yell , just want to make up my mined today, and can't do it.LOL
the kid is saying come on POPS i want your phone before school starts the wife hates the dare and wants the kids phone and they both get back today from softball champs. in Co. and i just want to go make some knives and have this all done when they get back . see my problem .LOL sorry if i hurt your feeling LOL

If you want it get it, if not don't. I think it's the best phone out there.
There are things that you can do to save your battery. Keep a
charger handy ,buy a spare battery. The stock setup is GTG IMHO ....
