Help, gingerbread problems

Alright so I downloaded the zip file for rooted gingerbread 4.5.88 and flashed it and all, booted up my phone and it was all cool. Then it would just start getting extremely slow to the point of not usable anymore, for anything. I've wiped the data and cache numerous times and reinstalled the zip file numerous times. It seems to work fine for a few hours but then it will just stop working right after I finish backing up my apps and data with titanium backup which really pissed me off. Any ideas anybody?

are you doing a batch restore and just restoring everything? stuff from froyo on GB - mainly system settings - will cause problems. hand pick which ones get restored.

Ya I was doing batch restores and also using backup assistant and google account restore.

do none of those. do batch restores but go thru the list and check only the ones u want to do
