HDMI Problems

I have bought an HDMI cable and hooked it up to my TV. I didnt like the quality of the picture so i bought the actual Samsung HDMI cable and same thing. Picture isn't as sharp as it appears on my phone. Especially Netflix. HD YouTube videos are pretty close but everything else looks way grainier. I have tried two separate TVs same thing. Anyone else getting the same results? Could it be my cable?

I've noticed this with my xoom. Videos look great on my xoom, but when I use HDMI the quality suffers a bit on a TV. I haven't tried it with my Nexus I don't have the adapter either

Does netflix stream HD to mobile devices? Maybe once that's implemented the quality will be sharper on screen.
