Handcent Time problem

So on handcent, when I receive a message the time-stamp is -5 hours. I tried to offset the time and did 0 hours offset and it still had the problem. Then I tried doing +5 hours offset and it still didn't fix it. This problem started when I used the Chinese new year skin. Is anyone else having this problem? It's really really annoying.

I also downloaded the new skin but have no problems, noticed they had an update for handcent and the Chinese New year skin today, maybe try updating??

Yeah I updated today too. We'll see how that goes.

I updated both handcent and the chinese new year skin and that problem is still there. so no one else is having that problem?

try to adjust the receive time offset. Had the same problem and it went away. Mine was off by 5 hours so I set mine to +5

If that doesn't work, try installing go sms, and no problems there. May be a bug in the handcent app

Well I tried uninstalling the chinese new year skin and it seems to be fixed.

I am also having a problem with Handcent. When I view the 'view reports' to see the time stamp of message received - it is off by 14 hours!!! The phone clock is right. I didn't see an option to change the time within Handcent itself. I have also updated - time is still wrong. Help!

Yeah when I check it in my regular text messaging app, the time is correct. So it has to be handcent that is off.
