I want to set the time on my Droid X manually so that it is atomic time.
I went into Menu->Settings->Date & time->Set time as expected. However when I choose the time and hit "Set" the time does not reset the seconds to 0. For example, if it is currently 5:24:45 and I hit "Set," the time does not set to 5:24:00 (I verified this by using the ClockSync app and seeing that the local offset is always the same number). Instead it seems like it just keeps the seconds the same.
Does anyone know how to get around this problem or I can manually set the time on my phone so that it is approximately atomic time? I do not want to root it. Thanks for the help.
