Text messasge stops working.

My texting seems to be working fine, but after a while I can send texts, but my phone does not receive them. Shutting the phone off and turning it on helps, but that is annoying. I use handcent for my messaging. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

How often do you reboot your phone? Any task killers installed?

Thanks! Yes, I have the free task killer app installed and I shut my phone on and off once daily. It works for about half the day, then I stop receiving messages.

 

[Droid DOES!!]

Uninstall the task killer and reboot. Use back to exit apps (home only if you're going to go right back to them) instead. See if that helps.

Thanks! I will try that now and let you know how it works. Will removing the task killer lower the battery life?

Not if you use the back key to exit apps vs the home key.

My texts had no problem today! Thanks alot for your help, it saved me a trip to the Verizon store. If this problem arises again, what other problems could it be from?
