Gps satellite icon on all the time since update

Since the update this morning, my satellite icon is on most of the time. Is this normal now? Anyone else notice it?

Just the icon? Is it doing anything? Have you tried turning it off in settings?

That only comes on if GPS services are active.
Mine shows up when I set Location settings for Weatherbug or Beautiful Widgets. It also comes on when Browser is opened or Google Maps.

I've never had it on for more than a minute and that's IF it's struggling to find me inside a building.

Look for an app that tracks your device location? Check how often it is updating?

I turned it off and it goes away. But when I try an app like google maps, it wants it on, so I turn it on. Then when I close all apps, it stays on. I will look thru my apps and see which ones use it and are updating or hanging up. Thanks. Ill post back

I found the problem, an app called safe neighborhood was the culprit. I uninstalled and reinstalled and am fine now. Thanks for the help.
