Question about GPS Satellites

Hey, I'm new to these forums and to the Droid 2 Global so I was hoping someone could help me out! :) Under the Location and Security settings of my Droid there's an option to use GPS Satellites. If I have this checked does it cost me money to find and use those satellites or does it only cost me money to actually use the GPS? I didn't buy the Verizon Navigator feature and I don't want to use the GPS for finding my way anywhere. I just want it to be able to track my location for social network updates, etc. I guess the basis of the question is, does it cost me money to enable the use GPS Satellites option on my phone? Thank you so much for helping!

Nope. Gps is free. Using the satellites are free. Even navigation is free. Just don't use Verizon navigator. Use the google nav.
