Status Bar/GPS Symbol

I could swear, when I first got the X, the status bar would show the little satellite in the status bar when GPS was on. It shows, Bluetooth, WI-FI, Airplane, Alarm, etc. (In fact, the owner's manual does show the GPS satellite as one of the icons that would be displayed when turned On.)

However, after the update, all will show when turned On, except for the GPS satellite icon.

Is there a way to fix this, since it is a nice indicator if you accidently leave your GPS runnng?

The gps icon only shows up if the gps is being used.

You should have a GPS indicator in the status bar. Have you rebooted your phone since doing the update?

Yes, make sure you have Google Maps or Navigation enabled to see if the icon shows up.

Yea, just checked, you guys are right (and fast on responses toodancedroid). Wish it would show up if GPS is just turned ON. I left it ON yesterday and it did a good job of draining the battery quickly:icon_evil:.
