Got Google Wallet working

Using this method- Keep in mind even after fixing permissions you will probably need to uninstall and re-install some applications that didn't have their permissions fixed.

Just followed this guide and installed it as well. Bought a McFlurry from McDonalds using the $10 free Google bucks!

I made a few changes to the guide myself and it work for me

Install busybox first

1. Copy googlewalletfix_1.1R41v8_ICS_aok_galaxynexus to the Download folder on the root of the sdcard
2. abd pull /data/system/packages.xml
3. open the xml and copy contents to Google Wallet packages.xml Fixer
4. copy output and save to the packages.xml you pulled to your computer
5. copy the packages.xml from your computer to the Downloads folder on the sdcard(not really a sdcard but we’ll call it that for now)
6. open up and adb shell. Go into su mode by typing su (# will appear)
7. enter cp /sdcard/Download/packages.xml /data/system/packages.xml
8. flash the googlewalletfix_1.1R41v8_ICS_aok_galaxynexus.zip image from the Download folder in ClockWork Recovery
9. reboot the phone.
10. You may have to repeat steps 6 and 7 again and then reboot 1 more time if the wallet app fails to open

Well that was easy! Simply downloaded Google Wallet using your link leprophotography. Installed and added the Google prepaid $10 card to my Google Wallet account via install setup. Thanks Google No thanks to you Verizon!

Anyone actually try this out yet making a purchase? Install and configuration went fine and says it's ready to use.

Glad there was an easier way to install. I have never used ADB commands before and I didn't want to try on my brand new shiny phone.

Just made 1st purchase (McD coffee on google). Just open google wallet, place on paypass surface, it will say sending, then approved, then watch the counter girls face when she says " Wow that was awesome".

I rooted then installed wallet apk.
