hey guys,

Psyched because this is half the price of the verizon one, but im curious about the battery door. does it connect well? will i be able to get my 4G signal like normal. Also is that battery with that door compatible with the Seido Convert case for the extended batteries. and lastly does the battery work as advertised. does it have equal or longer life than the verizon extended?

My trexcell battery door is a little bigger but both my active and convert cases fit just doesn't fit perfectly

I called them before I ordered with this same question. They assured me the 4g would work but it didn't. I called back and they are sending me another back door so it remains to be seen. Should get here tomorrow our the next day so I will update then. I'd be curious to know if anyone out there has 4g connection with any aftermarket extended battery that includes a new back cover.

Ok new cover came in today. It has different connections on it than the first one they sent, these look more like the connections on the OEM extended battery cover and they are more of a silver color than copper like the first one. I am pleasantly surprised, we have 4g lift-off. I ran speed tests with my regular cover and the new cover and they are comparable.

Great cases for this battery

There is a seller on eBay (moretalktime) who sells custom TPU cases for a lot of phones including the thunderbolt with the extended battery.
