Google Voice Search has disappeared!

Did a factory reset and everything went well...except, I now cannot find Google Voice Search. The app shows in the Play Store as having been installed, and it also show in the 'manage apps' section. But there's no icon for it in my apps, and so I have no way to create a shortcut for it on my home page. Help!!!

try press and hold the google app, it gives you 4 options..search/voice search/recent/personal search, now drag "voice search" to home screen
