Google Talk Missing - How come?

Hi, Just got a Motorola A853 and misteriously it didnt come with the 'Talk' app installed.

The Firmware is Android 2.1-update1 .

Is rooting and applying a ROM the only solution for that? (since I cannot find it in the Market)

Problem solved.

Asked a friend to send me all the TALK apks he had in his phone and got it working now.

I don't know if the order of the installation matters, but I've installed them in this order:
1. TalkProvider.apk
2. GTalkService.apk
3. Talk.apk

Uploaded the files to 4shared:
Google Talk files for Android 2.1-update1.zip - *********** - online file sharing and storage - download

(used File Manager from Apollo software to locate and execute them)

Hopefully someday this will help somebody (i've spent 3 days trying to get this sorted out!)
