Yes, if you update google maps from the market place, you'll see the navigation icon in the apps. Without the update, you'll need to do it within the maps app (or the car dock)

Yep I saw that today. Kind of a bummer tho, the Droid went straight to the voice screen and from there. Just another step to gettting it done. I can't wait to see how the battery last, so far very good reviews.
