Default navigation switched to Verizon Navigator, How do I get back to Google Nav

With Froyo, my default navigation when I launch directions from maps has changed to Vz Navigator and (google) Navigator is not even seen as an option. I have to open gNavigator and input the address instead of it being passed from other apps.

Any idea how to get back (wihtout rooting as this is a company phone)?

This might work....

settings\applications\manage applications click "all" then find maps and vz nav... then click on "clear defaults" and either app or both.
