This is a Google issue and not a Droid issue, but I thought I'd share.
Funny story...sort of. I'm out with the wife and she says "Hey, let's go eat at [restaurant X]." I say "Sweet, lemme get the magic Droid to tell us where the nearest one is and exactly how to get there." She says "Well then. Show me what's what." (The wife is a crackberry user and I've had the Droid for a week.) I then proceed to go to Google and search for restaurant X only to be shown the nearest locations in northern California. I'm in central Texas. I then notice it says "Location unavailable" with an update link next to it. Update failed. So I Google "location update failed" and find that lots of folks have this problem.
So really, this was an FYI and a gripe more than an issue. Google is lame and you'll have to now copy/past Googled addresses into the Nav app.
