Yes, she does sound similar to Janis, although much crisper, clearer voice. You must also be familiar with Rory Block, Angela Strieghli (sp?), Marcia Ball, The Too be Good Tanya's... Just some of the great female blues artists.

I noticed that when I was looking for the video. I think I'd already found it on Google Play before that, but can't actually remember where it was featured on the show, so maybe I'm confused...Haha
