gmail not being immediately pushed

So far everything works really well, but I have a strange Gmail issue. My Gmail doesn't notify me immediately when I receive an email. It sends the email to my "all mail" folder, but not the inbox. It also doesn't notify me unless I manually sync the inbox. My exchange email works just fine thought. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks.

i was having this issue. did you kill any programs. I completely shut down the phone then restarted it. seemed to fix the issue
