Girlfriend tapped all texts on my droid x

I searched for ten minutes or so to find a topic relevant and recent. But couldn't find any.


A few days ago, an old female friend texted me. My girlfriend is extremely jealous so I named the girl something different in my contacts just to avoid an argument. Im not allowed to talk to females....

My girlfriend came home and showed me an email with every text between this girl and I
Including the fake contact name.

How?? How is this possible or even legal? We are not on the same account nor does she have any of my passwords.

I've searched my phone and there doesn't appear to be any spy apps installed.

She wont say anything about how she did it...

The email was from @y.com

She said she's been doing it for a while.

And it couldn't have been the girl I was texting setting me up.
How would my girlfriend get the fake contact name to go along with all my texts recorded to her email?

We live together. And work together. And were getting laid off. She has two young children. I can't just kick her out... and I don't have the money to leave...

Jon, time to move on my friend. As soon as I read "I'm not allowed to talk to females" I knew you had a problem. Look, if she said I don't want you taking to your most recent ex our something that's not unreasonable but you have a certifiable crazy on your hands. Yeah it's easier said than done to dump her but do you want to spend the REST OF YOUR LIFE with this nut?? Because if you don't get rid of her that's a likely outcome.

No it's not. It only seems difficult. A little mild jealousy is one thing, but that's so far over the line I don't know what I'd do. You need a reality check.

Relationship advice aside, I'm interested to find out how she did this. If you live together I'm assuming she'd have a chance to access your phone? Maybe she installed an app, exported all the texts (there are many SMS backup apps that will email you the export), then uninstalled the app?
