[GB] Green 3G vs Gray 3G

So I flashed CM7 last night (which is based off 2.3.1) and I have a question regarding the new service indicator.

Sometimes the 3G and service indicator are gray in color and sometimes they are green. Is there any difference between the two colors and does anyone know what it is.

There is a difference - grey is not fully connected as you will see at startup and green is a full connection - besides the icons being in the framework-res.apk there is also a systemUI.apk within the system/app folder that contains the rest of the icons - if you were interested in theming any of them
