Gallery Problem w/2.2 ??

Is anyone else seeing a problem with the Gallery on 2.2? I am running stock and updated to 2.2, but it takes forEVER for my gallery to show up after pressing the icon. Does anyone else see this?

I see the same thing. I recently moved most of my pics off and it still takes forever. It also seems the .nomedia file won't prevent it from searching and displaying a directory.

I feel like I'm always "that guy" but mine runs fast...

Mine is faster than ever, and my .nomedia files still work, only displaying what I want to show.
