I'll add a hair more detail. Froyo is the new operating system for the phone. It really reprograms the whole thing for better speed and performance. It will be sent out in waves via an OTA from Verizon. When Verizon sends it to your phone, it will put a message on the message bar letting you know it is ready for download. You will need to have at least 60% battery unplugged or 40% plugged in for it to install. Fixes a lot of things including the bluetooth dialing.
