Froyo MMS App Problem

Ok, first of all I'm running DropTheme on BBv.1 with p3's 1ghz kernel-

In the messaging app, I only get one notification that appears in the bar at a time.

Meaning if Joe texts me at 2:00, Mike texts me at 2:05, and I check my notification bar at 2:10, only Joe's text will show.

This happens even though my ringtone will ring for Mike's text and his message will show up inside the messaging app.

It's just plain frustrating considering since I have had Froyo, I've been missing like half of my texts!!!! Any help?

I use the "SMS Unread Count" widget because I have the same problem. At least with the widget I have a count so I can see if texts are piling up.

I'll see a text that I really don't care about, so I won't open the app to clear the notification. Other texts will arrive and I won't get an updated notification, so I won't look.

Then I end up with a PO'd gf.
