file explorer ftp server?

has anyone been able to to successfully connect to ftp server in the built in file explorer?I cant seem to get mine to connect properly...

I got it to work....tranfered files to and from my phone. Try turning data off and just have wifi on. That did it for me.

Also, I got it to connect with google chrome, but it would not let me do anything. I had to connect with IE.
