Few Issues With This One...Anyone Else?

Ok, I have had the phone a week or so and starting to remember why I took a break from Android. While I really am enjoying the phone, I am having a few software issues...maybe operator error, maybe not.

First off, while having the phone in my pocket and receiving a call, the phone vibrates, I have unchecked vibrate in every place I can find, yet nothing cures this issue. Is this a normal operation with no way to turn off or what?

Second, adding ring tones...in all other Android devices I have owned, you could simply create a Media folder, under that an Audio Folder, then under that, Ringtones, Notifications, Alarms, ect. folders...drop the file in one of those directories and boom, ringtone, notification, ect shows up in the list. On the DNA, however, this does not work.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I can only address your first issue of vibrating while in your pocket. Go to Settings, Sound, then make sure 'Pocket Mode' is unchecked. I actually like that feature. It only vibrates when in my pocket.

Thanks for the response...guess I was confused since it shows that pocket mode simply increases the volume...nothing about vibrating??

Did find another issue, when looking at linked contacts, some of them show two facebook contacts as being linked when there truly is only one?? I thought maybe it had something to do with me manually linking contacts, so I simply let the system auto sync and it still shows two facebook contacts for some of my phone contacts.

Back to ring tones, now I am noticing the phone is showing multiple instances of a single ringtone when it only exist once on the phone...odd!!
