Just wondering, Should the Kernel show up as the name of the installed kernel? Cuz it still says 2.6.29, even tho i installed the one that fixed the Mass Storage problem

No it wont show the name...u can use the info section in SetCPU to verify...adrynalyns are 'chaos' kernels I think

Just to answer your question...check out geekniks kernels and/or adrynalyns kernels in Rom Manager...just make a backup before flashing and have at it

Hey just letting you know that I put one of geekniks OC kernels on my fascinate. Runs like a champ

Now gotta figure out how to flash froyo...

I have a question, sorry if it's noobish. I just acquired a Fascinate last night (Used to my X which is my 2nd phone), rooted and threw on Froyo. Works perfectly but of course I can't OC. What Kernel or Rom+Kernel can I flash so I can OC? Any help is much appreciated! :blink:

I have a question, sorry if it's noobish. I just acquired a Fascinate last night (Used to my X which is my 2nd phone), rooted and threw on Froyo. Works perfectly but of course I can't OC. What Kernel or Rom+Kernel can I flash so I can OC? Any help is much appreciated! :blink:

Firmware 2.2.1, Baseband DL09, Build SCH-I500.DL30

If im not mistaken, there are no Overclocking Kernels for froyo yet. But you can go Voodoo, which makes it faster. But id read up on it. Ive had my Fascinate for around 5 months i think, and im still scared to flash a Voodoo Kernel, i just dont wanna brick it

you won't perma brick u will semi brick which u can fix with odin the only real way to brick ur phone is by using odin and using anything other than pda

What confuses me is, when to disable/enable Lagfix. And how to flash it if i already have SC2.6.
im just confused on it in general. but those are what confuse me the most.
