facebook calendar sync with phone calendar

i just had the samsung fascinate for 5 months. today, verizon got me out of that phone because of major issues i had and they switched me to a droid 3(lets hope i picked the right phone to switch to). i used to be able to sync my events on facebook to my phone calendar, can i do that with my droid 3? i didnt get the manual that comes with it to look there and i cant find it by searching. also, hows the battery life on the phone??

Beyond someone with experience popping in--you might give it a few days--I can only imagine you used some app to sync events from facebook. I haven't seen that capability anywhere.
