Sync Google Subscribed Calendars?

OK, so football season is just around the bend... this is my first Android phone and I've moved everything over to google to keep my sync simplified.

I found where I can subscribe through the google calendar to my favorite teams and get the schedules subscribed on my calendar.

I can access them on the PC just fine, and I've pushed my phone to sync several times, but so far the subscribed calendar events are not coming over to the phone.

Any advice on syncing a subscribed calendar?
Shouldn't those events be pushed to my phone if they are showing up on my gCal?

My personal calendar is syncing fine.

Are they all on the same calendar? You don't have an "everyday" calendar and a separate "football" calendar do you?

No just went in under my normal login and there is the area where you can go browse and subscribe to other calendars.
I liked that because you can filter easily for one team or another.
If it won't sync that way though I suppose I'll have to download the ics files and import them directly.
