Facebook app not connecting, website timing out

Hiya gents,

Anyone else having a problem connecting to Facebook?

I've been in France without a problem until last night. I was chatting to a friend when suddenly I stopped receiving updates and messages. When trying to refresh the app I'm shown a message with an IP address and a notification that it cannot connect.

Furthermore, the mobile site times out every time. All other websites are working though. Links from Google to discussion and help pages on the full Facebook site work.

Not sure if there's a specific problem in France, with Verizon, or with Facebook.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Having the same problem in Barcelona, same timing too. The social networking widget works though, and if I can find a wifi signal I can connect to Facebook through that.

Having the same issues in Qatar

App times out at previously stated, and the mobile, touch ,a regular site never connect. Been going on since yesterday for me. All other apps and sites work just fine

Works fine on WiFi as well
