Facebook and passwords

I've had to reset my facebook password and now the widget I used won't display any data, it says something about an invalid session key, I've rebooted the phone and changed the password on the social networking page of the phone. Any help would be much appreciated.

YOu probably did this, but did you try and delete the widget (drag to the trash) and then put it on the home screen again?

Yes I did. Just tried again for good measure.

Next step I'd try (and have with some success) is to actually go in to manage applications and uninstall the widget. Then reconfirm that the phone is connecting to FB ok like through your FB app, then go to the market and download and install again the widget.

As far as I know I'm using just the default app that came with the phone. Can that be uninstalled?

mine did this logout then log back in

Oh, well I wouldn't necessarily uninstall the stock app before knowing if you can re-download it.

I just did, I think I was mistaken about it being stock but it looks like it's solved for now at least.
