extreme battery usage all of sudden

Hi, 4 days ago my battery usage went from a day and a half to six hours. No new apps recently. Battery meter shows android system 27%, com.android,systemmui 24%, consistently . all other percentages were below 8% These two numbers seem high.
About the same time I saw a screen talking about "Rectify" I can not locate an app by that name or any thing else on my phone. The only thing I can find about anything named Rectify is a tv series on sundance.

Anybody got any ideas?

Sounds like cloud sync in the background. How is your data usage? StIll have Google+?

I have maybe 2. What you are describing could be from a bad or corrupt microSD card or some dirty cache on the internal storage.
