Exchange email issue

I just installed 3.0.1 and am having touble setting up my exchange email. I came from gba12 from peter alfonso (also a GB rom) and exchange was working fine with the settings I had used in froyo roms, however, in UD 3.0.1 I get the error unable to connect to server. Is this an UD issue?

I had also had similar problems, so I removed UD and went back to PE4.2

Yeah, I'm trying LGB 1.2 now, the exchange email works, but just doesn't feel right not having UD on my phone :S lol...
