UD & Exchange Security

There's one feature in particular that keeps me coming back to UD for Droid 1 and I'm curious what the heck is being tweaked by BD? Is it something I can modify myself if I try another ROM? It's the exchange security setting. Ever since Froyo came out, setting up my exchange mail account requires password setup. BD has somehow gotten around this, but no one else does it for Droid 1 that I am aware of and it's a dealbreaker. Really annoying to plug in a passcode in everytime my screen goes off.

I am currently running MIUI but was having the same problem. I used a update.zip I found over at XDA that replaces the email.apk with another that has the part that makes you enter a password when you wake up the screen on your phone stripped out. Have been using it for a month or so now with no issues. Send me a PM and I'll give you the link.
