I found the bootstrap program. It successfully flashes "flash boot" and "flash recovery" but "reboot recovery" gets the yellow triangle error and the little android guy. I shut off the USB debugger before trying to deploy it.

Any ideas? Obviously I'm desperately trying to get to where I can flash a custom ROM.

Thank you,

Jim

Press the search button to access stock recovery once you have the little triangle. Use d2 clockwork recovery, it works the best that ive seen. But can I ask what you want to do exactly?

He wants to flash a rom... he can't do that with stock recovery!

If you are on gingerbread rooted you will need the d2 bootstrap.

I am running 2.3.3 v.602. I assume it is Gingerbread?

Thanks.

The D2 bootstrap worked. I am now running the Liberty ROM.

Much appreciated. Thanks again.
