Entire Babes section of the gallery wiped out

Again... I didn't use them, I only submitted a few. Yes, ANYONE can use google to find images but tasteful wallpapers are not something every user can create on their own.

As it turns out it seems the problem was a few who abused it by uploading less tactful images. It was getting too much to keep track of what was acceptable and what was not so they chose to kill the whole section.

I can see no other mod has chimed in so I will. There was an influx in inappropriate images, seeing as it also took up a lot of time to make sure it stayed clean. There is also the fact that we want to keep it family oriented. As black already stated there are many places you can find those images. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused some of you, this was not in any way our intention.

I just was notified that all of the pics I had posted in the Babes section were killed.

Now I check and that entire gallery section has been wiped out. Most of the images in there were far from erotic.

Is there a reason for this that we're not being made aware of?

Atomic, unfortunately we had no choice. You say most of the images in the Gallery were far from erotic. Thats because they were cleaned up daily and quickly.

Speaking only for myself I spent too much time deleting pics everyday and I know the other mods would probably say the same.

We all wanted to keep the section up and we did for as long as we could but in the end it became too much of a distraction and very time consuming.

I hope that clarifies it a little more for you.

You can go spend time on Google Images and use something like Paint to resize your images... not that hard...

It's an unfortunate part of society because as usual, the few who abuse the privilege ruin it for the many.

I was just a little miffed because I actually spent quite a bit of time in Photoshop modifying a few of the ones I had posted to make them wallpaperable (yes damn it I made that word up!)

I know of other sites that "review" photos before they are allowed to the public. Could this be set up on vBullentin? That would eliminate something slipping through if some one quickly reviewed the wallpapers that were uploaded on a daily basis before going public.
