EN Icon on Droid 2-What is it??

I have a Droid2 and went out of town for Thanksgiving and all the sudden there is this EN next to my 3G icon. The 3G was still working though.

Now, I'm back home and it still says EN and I have no clue as to what it is. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon, Motorola and no one claims to know what it is.

I even did a hard reset---nothing works.

HELP?!?!?!

It means you're typing in english. Go to setting > language and keyboard > multi touch keyboard > input languages and see that only english is checked.
