Eee pad transformer

So I've been looking into the tf101 Asus Eee pad transformer since it was announced and it looks AMAZING. It's essentially a Xoom made by a more reliable company at $200 lower pricetag, and with a detachable keyboard.

I'm an employee at bestbuy and was digging around, only to find that the current "in-stock" date is 4/30, and apparently there is an un-announced pre-sale on them since March 28. The listed price as of right now is $399.99, which is AWESOME, though there is no indication as to the keyboard being included. Even if the keyboard is sold seperately for $150, the tf101 is still priced below to wifi only motorola xoom, and is completely worth the price.

My question is... who will be purchasing the tf101 on release day or soon after?

I'm definitely interested in it. Gonna wait for the initial reviews to come out first though. But if all is good, I'll probably sell my G Tablet and replace it with one of these.

I've yet to hear any bad reviews. It's been out in a few places overseas since mid March and everyone who has one seems to enjoy it thoroughly.

I can't find the post, but I saw an article today that listed it at 361 pounds for the most basic version. And then something like 460 pounds for the tablet plus the keyboard. I think that's about $590.00 US / $750.00 US respectively when converted. I could be wrong, but it looks like that $400.00 price tag was too good to be true.

EDIT: Found a link to the UK Amazon ordering site:

429.99. Ouch.

I'm saying that the price that the internal system at bestbuy currently says "$399.99".

Here's hoping they keep it that low when it launches in the US. But I imagine if they did that, there would be a lot of angry customers overseas who already bought it for more.

There's supposed to be a 3G capable option as well, correct? Question is if it will work on VZW, though I could give AT&T a shot

There will be a 3g/4g capable version at some point, but as of right now, the only ones in our system are the tf101-a1 and the tf101-b1, which should be the 16gb and 32gb respectively. Unfortunately, the constant changes of in-stock date are starting to worry me, even though asus promised the US to have them for sale by the end of april.
