Easytether, it doesn't seem to want to work no more

Well at first easytether free worked for me, I used it once or twice. The next day when I try to tether, my laptop shows I'm connected but on the adapter part it shows its not plugged in? I can open all my files, pictures, and more but tethering doesn't want to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I noticed you were having a problem with tethering your phone. I understand you currently use easytether, but we at 2guys1droid have been using PDAnet with no problems both at home and on the road and thought we would make a tutorial with pictures to help you set up tethering using PDAnet.
