dust and dirt behind my screen

ecently I had an accident in which a basketball managed to land flat on my GS3 screen and crack is to pieces. I went to the Verizon store and asked if they'd replace the screen but theh wanted me to pay $650 for a new phone. The guy at the store recommended I go to a mall kiosk to replace it. I ended up going to a nearby shop that does the stuff and they changed my screen in a day. It's been about two weeks now and there is dust and lint gathering behind my screen, presumably getting in through the home button and the speaker space as the screen isn't 100% perfectly sized. What should I do about this? These small things tend to really bug me so it is somewhat of an issue for me. Please help, I'll take any suggestions.
