Dumb question: What does RC mean?

Decided to stop by here, looks like UD 3.0 is coming out!!!

But yeah I been sitting here trying to think of what it means and i'm drawing blanks... What it mean?

In terms of my D1:

Been running UD 2.5 with the stock kernal @ 800MHz scoring a 940

Just reflashed kernals and am now running Slayher 1.1Ghz with interactive governor and it put me at 1179 above the stock Droid X on 2.1. Hopefully I don't notice a battery life change, I love how responsive my phone is @ 1.1Ghz dancedroid

RC means release candidate....more refined than a beta release but still not up to the standards of what a final release is

RC stands for release candidate. Meaning he is working towards his final build of UD 3.0 but it's not in it's final phase yet. It's still in beta so the release candidates are kind of like test copies of the rom.

RC=Release Candidate. There is a useful thread called overclocking 101 on the forum somewhere. It will show u how to setup overclocking profiles.

Oh okay cool, just wanted to know, makes more sense now. Thanks guys.

Can't wait to run UD 3.0. I wonder how it'll change my benchmark numbers.
