I've been playing for 5 days, I've crossed the street, walked through parks, give over bridges... Rocks... And amazingly enough I've not been hurt.

Yea, I don't get it. Maybe it's my 3 years of playing Ingress. In my head i know where all the stops and gyms are in most of Cleveland. But there's zero need to stare and walk while capping. Look at phone. Look up. Walk. Glance at phone. Wrong way. Turn around. Walk. I don't get it.

Have you heard about us in cemeteries? Museums? Being places after hours that we shouldn't.

Exactly... Pokemon Go is basically the same thing as Ingress. And I've heard of all kinds of things going on with players trying to get portals. Just didn't make the news. Pokemon is bigger than Ingress so is getting in the headlines more.

Ingress is quite a bit different, similar but different. The people who play ingress are generally more like those of us on these forums (a bit geekier and more intelligent) not across the board but the ones I met were.

I quit playing Ingress because, like Lifted said...most Ingress players are tech savvy. And a rather large number of them used GPS spoofers and ruined the entire experience for me. Which is a shame, because I loved the concept at the time and waited for months to get into the beta with no luck.
