dropping calls

I have two Verizon cells.....Blackberry (work) and Droid (personal). Why does the Droid drop calls in locations that the Blackberry maintains the calls.?

#2 Clarity on the Droid..numerous contacts tell me they have difficulty hearing me.

when in the area of question dial *228 and then option 2. This will update your roaming list. See if that helps any.
