Droid X Will not Sync with Exchange 2010

Hi All,

IT updated our Exchange E-mail today from 2007 to 2010. Up until the update, my phone synced flawlessly with our Exchange e-mail. After the upgrade, my account is accepted on the phone and show it being registered on the phone, but it will not sync contact, calendar and e-mail. It just says Account Error. I have removed and added twice and it will still not work. Any help would be appreciated. I am currently on the Froyo 2.2

The problem probably is not with your phone. 2010 is a complete re write of Exchange. More than likely your IT staff has not configured the server(s) correctly for mobile users. Exchange 2003 was pretty easy. Basically a check box. Probably not as easy in 2010. Check with them. I bet your not the only one in your organization that can't connect.

I'd also verify that your Exchange client (you didn't mention which -- is it stock?) is compatible with 2010. If not, try another client.

I would suggest Touchdown. I and my fellow IT'ers prefer it over stock. It does support 2010. And you can try it for five days for free. Welcome to NitroDesk, Inc.
