Droid X stuck on Motorola Logo at Book

A few days ago, I had installed DX Fission ROM on my DX but then it started draining the battery fast. I had already done a rom backup of my froyo update. When I when to reinstall the froyo backup, I had it charging via USB cable to my computer but then it died on me right there. The DX died while the installation so now the phone will not boot up. It stays on the Motorola Logo whenever I try to boot then it just goes off. I tried to hold the pwr button along with the home button but nothing happens.

how can i get to the menu where I will install the OS or how can I install it via my pc.

I do believe if you follow this thread it'll take you through everything you need to do to get your phone working again. And you can/have to do this through your PC so you'll be all good. Any questions ask and I can help. I just did that for the first time yesterday and I know how you feel.
