Droid X Froyo Questions

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a droid X in October. I just have a few questions about the Froyo update that I've heard will come out around that time. Will there be an official update through verizon that I can download? If there is, will it be free? Thanks a lot guys!

If you are getting the X in October, you probably wont have to worry about Froyo it will OTA or come preinstalled.

To answer your initial questions: yes your phone will prompt you that the update is ready and yes it is free
