I just realized that I can't delete the old bootanimation because I lost my superuser rights in the Gingerbread update =__= gahhhh....

Is there a root method for Gingerbread yet?

The z4root method still works I believe, although I don't think you have gingerbread just yet as its 2.3 and we only have 2.2.1 available
