Unfortunately you will need the Full 2.3.32 sbf to unbrick.

However, I saw that P3droid and teamblackhat were trying to pull something together that might get you up without it. Eta unknown.

Hang tight and keep that phone charged.

From my Droid X with love...

Warranty for an error while flashing programming? Interesting...

DroidForums junkie!

Well if the SBF'ing fails but manages to get to the bootloader screen, he can either wait for the full SBF or take have it replaced.

I am in the same spot, stuck on the Moto M boot. While I am not a stranger to modifying things on my phone, I wasn't as prepared to be stuck at the Moto Boot. I just picked up my DX a few days ago and it sounds like I will need to return it for a replacement as well.

I just wanted to make sure that if I take it in stuck at the M the "all knowing" Verizon techs won't be able to do much to determine what happened to it?

Ok I figured out how to get past the M Boot logo and wipe the data/ factory reset. So after that should I attempt to install the zip update again?
