Droid X Bricked. Really need help.

Oh good lord no.... here's what I do... and YOU can do... I look in the forums at themes I like... find a base to work with... then download OTHER themes you like bits and pieces of... find the framework.apk. and rename it to a .zip and extract... find the drawable hdpi folder and take what you want from there out in a new folder on SD card... use ninjamorph to swap out items... there's a faster way using program called 7 zip but a bit trickier

rubiX Focused 1.6 & Modded Black Juice.

That's what I used to do when I was still in the iPod Touch modding community. iOS and Android are so different. But I can't go back to iOS after using my Droid.

After I restore my X, i'm gonna try the way I screwed up on just so I can see if it was something wrong I did or with the actual files.

Android is a whole different animal.

Im actually a super moderator on one of the biggest iphone forums on the net and have been theming and doing hardware mods/repairs since the iphone came out.

I was a mod on a smaller site. Same thing for PSP. Wow, people never change, just the gadget.

And why isn't there an easy option on Android like Winterboard?

Lol, I know. I am very slowly learning how to theme components in android. Nothing like throwing a bunch of images into folders and being done with it ;)

Send it back. My dad's did the exact same thing. His was rooted and just infinite looped. I software recovered and did recovery mode and everything. Just send it back.

Oh my gosh, yes. That was the best thing ever. Granted it took me a while to fully get my HTC Sense theme working on there. The widget was hard to configure lol. Second one was the last theme I ever configured on it =(

I want to do that but this is my second X in three weeks. The first had a stuck pixel.

I have a Droid X for work and Iphone 4 for personal. Current I4 setup.... PS- I take a pic of the X but im in the middle of screwing with it, lol.

Don't SBF yet.

First try removing your battery. Then Hold the home button down while putting your battery back in. HOLD the home button the entire time, until your phone reboots in to Motorola recovery. Should only take 30 seconds, max. Do the wipes and then reset. You should be able to get back in without flashing the SBF. Good luck.

@Bigbootyman, i tried this before but it didn't work. So I booted into bootloader mode and i'm flashing the SBF onto it, i'm assuming?

You should only go into bootloader mode of you hold the camera button and the volume buttons together. Try holding just the home button down. Trust me. I've had this several times while flashing roms. It's worked for me every time. I've had to reflash my SBF before I figured this trick out. That whole process of flashing sux!
